What is happening and when?
Please be advised that from the 8th to the 10th of April 2025, IWNL contractors GCB Utilities, will carry out important work on the boundary box for your water meter.
These activities can happen at any time during the dates shown below. However, any interruption to your water supply will last no more than four hours. GCB Utilities will do its best to limit disruption. IWNL apologises for any inconvenience this might cause.
This important work is needed for our network’s long-term reliability. It also allows us to keep reading your meter accurately.
What this means for you
From the 8th April to April 10th 2025, there will be a temporary disruption to your water supply lasting up to a maximum of 4 hours whilst the work is undertaken.
Things to consider before, during and after an interruption to your water supply:
- IWNL’s Priority Services Register
If you are of State Pension age, are disabled or have a long-term illness, and you feel you need a little extra help, we can add you to our Priority Services Register. To find out more, phone us on 02920 028711 or login to your online account; https://portal.iwnl.co.uk/log-in/
- Cloudy water
After an interruption to the water supply, your water may look discoloured or cloudy. Run your taps for a few minutes and it should run clear. If you are concerned about the quality of your water, you can contact us; www.iwnl.co.uk/contact-us/ .
